Pediatric Neurorehabilitation Research Center

This center was established in 2001 as an unofficial research unit at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. In 2008, initial approval for the establishment of a research center entitled “Pediatric Neurorehabilitation Research Center” was granted based on the resolution of the 186th session of the Council for the Expansion of Medical Universities, dated April 26, 2008 (7/2/87), consisting of nine articles and one note. Final authorization for the establishment of the center was issued on December 19, 2011 (28/9/1390), and in the same year the center acquired an official organizational structure.

At present, the center has three full-time faculty members, twelve part-time researchers, two honorary researchers, and eleven PhD research students and graduates.

Directors of the Research Center:

Since the initiation of activities of the Pediatric Neurorehabilitation Research Center and the acquisition of initial approval in 2008, Dr. Farin Soleimani served as the director of the center. From February 2011 to May 2017, Dr. Roshanak Vameghi held the position of director. Subsequently, from June 2017 until April 8, 2021 (20 Farvardin 1400), the center was directed by Dr. Firoozeh Sajedi. Thereafter, Dr. Farin Soleimani has once again assumed the directorship of the center from April 8, 2021 onward.
