Dr. Farin Soleimani is a Professor of Pediatrics with extensive academic, clinical, and research experience in pediatric developmental health, early childhood development, and neurodevelopmental care. Her work encompasses developmental surveillance and screening, early detection and follow-up of developmental disorders, and neurodevelopmental follow-up of high-risk infants. 
She is a board-certified pediatrician and received her MD and Specialty in Pediatrics from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, Tehran, Iran. She completed a Research Fellowship in 2015–2016, further expanding her research experience and expertise in pediatric developmental health.
Dr. Soleimani has also contributed to the development of transdisciplinary and family-centered approaches in pediatric rehabilitation, with an emphasis on collaboration among healthcare professionals and strengthening the role of families in promoting children’s development.
Her professional and research expertise focuses on developmental surveillance and screening, early identification and follow-up of developmental disorders, neurodevelopmental follow-up of high-risk infants, and early childhood development. She has a particular interest in promoting evidence-based approaches to early detection and intervention and in translating developmental research into feasible and sustainable health programs.
She has a particular interest in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and neurodevelopmental care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs), developmental assessment, health promotion, family-centered care, and transdisciplinary teamwork in pediatric rehabilitation.
Dr. Soleimani’s current academic interests particularly emphasize the integration of pediatrics, developmental science, early intervention, rehabilitation, and health promotion, with a focus on translating evidence into feasible developmental health programs and strengthening early detection and support for children at risk of developmental difficulties.
